We are a thriving, sustainable and ethical specialist disability accommodation (SDA) market that delivers quality, well designed housing for people living with disability.

Aim: We aim to drive better housing outcomes for people with disability that enhance independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. Through collaboration with government and the NDIA, our members and other stakeholders, we will address complex policy challenges and inspire systemic change. The voices of people with disability will always guide our work and influence our strategies.

Our Staff

Chief Executive Officer 

The SDA Alliance board is currently searching for an experienced and dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation. People for Purpose, a leading executive recruitment firm, has been appointed to help with this process.  

Tina McGregor

Executive Assistant to the CEO and Membership Liaison

Tina has extensive experience providing executive support to senior management and executive teams. Tina has worked in Local Government for close to two decades as an executive assistant to senior personnel including members of executive leadership teams. 

Toni Palombi

Senior Strategic Communications Advisor

Toni is a communications specialist and writer who emphasises the power of storytelling to convey complex ideas and data in a manner which is engaging, relatable and impactful. Toni has worked for not-for-profit organizations and government in Australia, Asia, and the Middle East. She is experienced in developing communication strategies and developing advocacy plans that influence policy, connect with diverse audiences and advance human rights.

Toni holds a Master of Philosophy (creative writing + oral history). Her writing, which focuses on life stories, has been published in the Guardian, Roads and Kingdoms, literary magazines (such as the Write Launch), Studies in Oral Histories Journal among others.

Our Strategic Plan

Our 2025-2028 Strategic Plan is dedicated to achieving meaningful outcomes, such as the implementation of a national SDA Best Practice Framework, leading discussions on pricing and design reviews, and forming a participant reference group to directly inform our advocacy efforts directly.
